ATM Rentals: A Worthwhile Investment

by Clayton Stanley

Festivals, concerts, and outdoor markets are just a few of the events that help bring communities together. Planning one of these events requires a lot of work. You must coordinate with vendors to ensure that they have booths that will interest attendees, and you must provide for the security and comfort of each guest.

One of the things that you can do to increase the success of your event is to invest in the rental of an ATM machine. You might be hesitant to invest money in an ATM machine, but this investment is one that can produce large returns.

You won't lose traffic.

Many modern consumers do not carry cash. In fact, 34 percent of millennials say they rarely or never carry cash. If you don't provide a way for your event attendees to access cash quickly and easily, these attendees might leave the event in search of an ATM elsewhere.

It's possible that the attendees will not return, costing your vendors valuable sales and compromising the success of your outdoor event.

You can eliminate NSF fees.

When a vendor at your outdoor event makes a sale, they want to know that they can rely on the money coming in to support their business. Accepting checks as a form of payment can be dangerous. If a customer writes a bad check, the vendor could be saddled with non-sufficient funds (NSF) fees that eat away at profits.

NSF fees also create a hassle for vendors, making them less likely to return to your event the following year. An on-site ATM allows vendors to direct customers to a place where they can access cash—a form of payment that is never associated with costly NSF fees.

You can reduce processing fees.

Some vendors working at your invest might be equipped with the ability to process credit or debit card payments. While these forms of payment are more reliable than checks, the processing fees associated with running a card can eat away at a vendor's profits.

When you rent an ATM machine to have at your event, vendors can instruct customers that they only accept cash without worrying that there won't be a way for potential customers to access the cash needed to make a purchase.

ATM rental fees are a small amount to pay when you consider the many benefits you and your vendors will enjoy when your event attendees have access to a reliable source of cash.
